My dears, I just thought I would check in with you to see how you're doing. Whether you need any additional Enforcers sent down to manage discipline, that sort of thing.

We can send in some extra Enforcers tonight so you'll have a chance to get some sleep. If anything changes, we will of course wake you.

Everyone's quite bored. Pansy just wrote to the Headmaster to ask if singing was allowed (I heard her as she was writing). No one is planning to do anything that will get them cruciated. Not right at this moment, anyway.

What I really need is a shower and a change of clothes.

I think you should be sleeping in the Great Hall but I'll send word you're to be allowed to go back up to your dormitory for a wash and some fresh robes.

I daresay we could use some approved reading material, perhaps. There's dashed little to do and they are growing somewhat restless. No one was permitted to collect bookbags and so on, apart from quills, journals and parchment for today's N.E.W.T.
